We are Screaming Unicorn

A from-scratch, chef-owned kitchen serving a thoughtfully curated menu of snacks, sandos, burgers, and more!

Founded in 2023 as a tiny pop-up food program by Chef Steph Rapoza & Ray Pagliarini, tucked away in an unassuming warehouse, hiding in plain sight right next to I-95 in Cranston, RI, the home of Buttonwoods Brewery.

In early 2024, Buttonwoods made a big move to the Valley section of Providence, and the Unicorns followed.

Now, almost 3 years later, we are pushing forward, ever evolving and blasting out a space for ourselves in the ever-growing and amazing Providence food scene.

The goal has always been to give our guests the most flavorful, elevated food options that we ourselves would want to eat over and over again. In doing so, in 2025, we were awarded RI Food Fights: Judge’s choice Best Sandwich, RI Monthly’s Best Of Rhode Island: Best Brewery Bites!
